A fantastic compilation of Red Dirt Gospel tunes. Groobees appear on two tracks: "Jail Burned Down" (Susan Gibson - vocals) and "Hung Down Head" (Susan Gibson - vocals& banjo; Gary Wayne Thomason - acoustic guitar). Rumor has it that Susan and Gary actually helped write "Hung Down Head", but couldn't take credit due to the record contract the Groobees had in place at that time. Produced by Jackie Diamond and Engineered by Walt Bowers at the Twenty-Fifth Track Studios in Broken Arrow, OK (J.J. Lester sometimes claims to have co-produced but he's usually in the throws of a dyspeptic fit when he does) |
