Review Policy
The readers of Rockzillaworld are primarily fans of Americana
music, so that is our focus. We consider Americana to be a very
wide ranging genre though, and we tend to classify anything we
like as Americana.
We take what we do very seriously. Any review posted on the
Rockzillaworld site will be fair. We are not here to slam artists
to gain attention. At the same time, we place a very high value
on our credibility. If a CD or performance is terrible, we will
not say it is great just to please the artist. New artists will
be given plenty of latitude. There's no sense expecting the same
level of performance from a new local artist as you would from
a veteran performer.
In short, we'll try to be as honest as we can and keep our
criticism POSITIVE.
CD Reviews
Notice: Before you submit a recording
for review, please make sure that you are familiar with our site.
If you have a recording that you would
like to submit for review on our site, please mail it to the
address below. We cannot return your disc or tape. When we receive
it, we will put it in line for review as soon as possible. Please
keep in mind that we receive many more recordings than we have
the staff to review.
With your recording, please tell us
where folks can buy it if it is not widely distributed. Also
provide a contact phone number and e-mail address. When you
submit a recording for review, we are assuming that we have your
permission to use your cover art and lyrics for the review.
If you have a web site, we will add a link on our music links
page and we ask that you add a link to Rockzillaworld on your
site.

Live Performance Reviews
Whenever possible, we are happy to attend
your performance and review it for publication on the site. Please
let us know at least two weeks in advance.
All we ask is that you place the attending
reviewer on your guest list and that you allow a few minutes
for a brief interview.
